After my second child was born in 2006, I became aware of how toxic the world can be. I was reading articles about the dangers of BPA, PVC, phthalates, parabens, lead, formaldehyde, flame retardants and the list seemed to go on and on. The news was reporting constant warnings about everything from toys to bedding to sippy cups that after a while we, as parents, didn’t know what to believe or what was safe for our children. After being a stay at home mom for 4 years, I knew I could make a difference and felt starting a store where parents could confidently buy safe and healthy products would be good for our family as well as others.
I am not an environmental expert but have spent countless hours researching and reading about the effects of the products we use on and around our children. I believe I have put together a very good selection of natural, non-toxic and eco-friendly children’s products and add new products regularly.
